Our policies are designed to protect the integrity of our marketplace and help create a fair and safe trading experience for all House Of Coin users. As a seller, you're responsible for regularly reviewing and complying with House Of Coin’s selling policies. We recommend that you learn about House Of Coin’s selling policies before you apply to become a seller. This helps increase your chances of account approval, and help you avoid accidentally breaking any rules. If you fail to follow the rules, we may take certain actions, such as removing your listings or products and limiting your selling privileges. All services provided by House Of Coin are as well subject to privacy policy & terms of service listed on our website.

SECTION 1 – GENERAL GUIDELINES
Setting clear buyer expectations and then meeting or exceeding them is a great way to make your buyer happy and ensure a smooth transaction.Some of the simplest things you can do are to provide accurate and consistent details about your items and to be clear and specific about the terms and conditions of your store. You should also make every effort to provide excellent customer service from start to finish, including:
- Charging reasonable prices for your products
- Specifying your handling time and return policy in your profile
- Promptly responding to buyers' questions
- Maintain professionalism throughout the transaction
- Making sure the item is delivered to the buyer as described in your listing
- Frequently reviewing and updating listings to make sure all information – such as inventory status and item condition – is accurate and up to date
SECTION 2 – OPENING A SELLER ACCOUNT
Currently, opening a House Of Coin Seller account is free on acceptance of these general terms and conditions. Only one account is allowed per natural person or legal entity, unless otherwise explicitly approved by House Of Coin in writing.Users must fill in the registration form on the website to request a new account. All applications are subject to review, in a process that might take up to 48 hours. In efforts of maintaining marketplace transparency & integrity, House Of Coin has made it mandatory for sellers to submit their information such as:
- Seller Name
- Seller Shop Name
- City
- Country
- Seller phone number
- Short store description
- Time for Order dispatch
- Courier company
- Time for order delivery
- Other information
- Order return & refund time (if any)
- Detailed return policy
Upon request, sellers might be requested to submit proof of identification for documentation & legal purposes, in efforts of maintaining the integrity of the platform.
SECTION 3 – SELLER EMAIL/SMS NOTIFICATIONS
Sellers are bound to receive email letters to their registered email addresses during various processes while using our services, such as customer query, order placement, order fulfillment reminder etc ..
SMS notifications are only sent to the seller’s registered number upon order placement, and is NOT a reliable mode of notification and is only provided as a supplementary feature. To ensure quality & timeliness of service, sellers cannot opt out of all House Of Coin marketplace related email and SMS notifications, unless in the case of account termination.
Sellers are expected to check their registered emails on a daily basis for updates.
SECTION 4 – ACCOUNT TERMINATION, SUSPENSION AND CLOSING
A seller account can be terminated at the account owner’s request via sending an email to [email protected]All outstanding account fees must be paid by the member (there should be no outstanding balance owed to House Of Coin)
- All sales and purchases in which the member is involved must be closed out and all related transactions must be finalized
House Of Coin reserves the right to end part or all of a member’s account access rights or remove them in the event of non-compliance with the general terms and conditions of use or when of the following situations occurs:
- Seller disability or death
- No response given to House Of Coin letters after two reminders
- Extended member absence, if they have not connected to the website for two months or more
- Incorrect or incomplete account information
- Unreasonable sales or purchase offers
- An excessive percentage of negative feedbacks
- Unacceptable behaviour
- An outstanding balance for over two months despite payment reminders from House Of Coin
- And, generally, non-compliance by the member with these general terms and conditions
House Of Coin cannot be held liable for any loss of data resulting from the termination, suspension or closing of an account under any circumstances.
Members whose account has been suspended or closed may not register again without the prior written approval of House Of Coin. House Of Coin reserves the right to take legal action in the event of non-compliance with this clause.
SECTION 5 – AUTHORISED, FORBIDDEN AND QUESTIONABLE ITEMS
House Of Coin contributes to the efforts of the competent authorities to fight against the sale of illegal items. As a result, House Of Coin will cooperate with the police in all investigations into the activities of users who attempt to sell these types of items on the website.House Of Coin encourages members who identify illegal items for sale on the site to contact it and, potentially, the police. House Of Coin will provide the information required for verification to the police at their written request.
The one-time or repeated sale of non-compliant items by a member will entitle House Of Coin to take action against the member as provided for in these general terms and conditions.
All items must belong to at least one of the website categories (Numismatics, Philatelics or Supplies). It is particularly forbidden to sell stolen items, intangible assets (services & rights) & products which violate copyrights, patents, brands, corporate secrets, personality rights or other protection rights (including pirated products).
Fake (reproduction) Numismatic & Philatelic products are permitted to list only if explicitly mentioned in item title and/or description. Failure to abide by this condition might result in closing your seller account or incite legal action from a buyer to your store.
Surprise lots whose content is unknown are not allowed to be listed. An exception can be made for lots of over 100 items or sold by weight (such as bulk coins and stamps).
This clause is not exhaustive and does not include all items not permitted to be sold under House Of Coin’s website.
SECTION 6 – ORDER SHIPPING
House Of Coin recommends that sellers charge the actual shipping costs incurred per order, or follow the wide-known standard flat rate price of 30 dirhams for delivery in all regions of the United Arab Emirates, & the price of their preferred mode of shipping for international orders. Buyers expect their items to be delivered on the expected time listed on your store, failing to abide by your expected delivery time might affect your rating and status as a House Of Coin seller.We expect you to mark every order as “fulfilled” from your seller portal after every dispatch, and as delivered after every delivery. Marking orders as fulfilled notifies the buyer of the status of their package, in which it would give them an idea of when to expect their order to arrive.
SECTION 7 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
While House Of Coin maintains every effort to ensure accuracy of listing information, you, the seller, is fully responsible of the accuracy information made available on this site in case of it not being accurate, complete or current. Since House Of Coin is neither a buyer or a seller, House Of Coin is not liable for any conflict that occurs between buyers & sellers, and is not liable to pay compensation in events of:- Non-payment
- Amounts paid in error
- Loss of revenue resulting from a payment
- Items damaged, lost or stolen during a transaction
- Misleading listings
- Any other breach of these general terms and conditions, of the law in effect in the United Arab Emirates or of applicable international laws
Members agree to compensate House Of Coin, including lawyer’s fees, in the event that legal action is taken against it by a third party as a result of a violation by the member of these general terms and conditions, of the rights of the third party or of the law.
SECTION 8 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND FEES
House Of Coin reserves the right to modify membership fees on its sellers at any time.We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. In case of service cancellation without violation of any of the general terms and conditions listed, sellers will have their most recent month’s membership fees reimbursed.
SECTION 9 – BUYER SELLER DISPUTE
In the case of dispute between you and a seller on product description & title/picture mismatch, or a clear case of inaccuracy in description, House Of Coin expects you to have the product returned and refunded, and that you take care of all charges related to it (including but not limited to shipping and handling fees).House Of Coin is not liable or responsible for any dispute between buyers and sellers, and is not responsible for any legal action taken against sellers by buyers.
